Conflict to Cohesion

Training Overview

Conflict is a natural part of life and when it is managed well, it can be a catalyst for significant growth and collaboration. But, when it is not managed, a negative culture can form which has the potential to severely impact morale, productivity, and your reputation.

These days, there is so much fear around what conflict is and how to manage it, that avoidance becomes a preferred course of action, which can result in high staff turnover and customers buying elsewhere.

However, when you give your staff the right communication tools, they become accountable for their own actions and learn how to respectfully hold others accountable to theirs. A positive, collaborative workplace grows, with high-performing teams working seamlessly together for the benefit of each other and for your customers.

The secret is to not instruct your staff to change, but to inspire them to lead the change themselves.

Delegates who attend this training will learn what creates conflict and what easily dissolves it. They’ll learn the right way to speak to others and also be able to completely transform their own self-talk.

Productivity is vital to the success of any business. This training will help your staff improve their productivity by removing the communication barriers that compromise it.

WeTrain’s style of delivery is interactive, engaging and fun. We encourage participation to make the training dynamic and enjoyable for all attendees.

Who should attend Conflict Management Training?

Although primarily aimed at teams, WeTrain’s Conflict to Cohesion training is also ideal for managers and supervisors who want to improve their leadership skills and acquire practical new tools to further engage and empower their staff.

Our past clients have ranged in positions and industries. For example, we have had Shire Presidents training alongside their Councillors, small business owners training alongside their staff and not-for-profit CEOs training alongside their volunteers.

Experience and customer feedback has consistently told us that our Conflict to Cohesion training was beneficial threefold: for the organisation, the attendees and for clients and customers. An additional benefit, regularly shared with us, is that the training has also helped attendees become better partners, better parents and better for themselves.

Employees who will find the course content helpful include:

  • Your customer service and client liaison staff
  • Your admin teams, receptionists, telephonists, and public facing-staff
  • Your teaching staff and education assistants
  • Your production and planning staff
  • Team leaders, supervisors, and managers
  • HR, recruitment, and OSH personnel

As your course is unique to your company, we tailor it to the appropriate level and audience relevance. Just tell us your requirements.

How is the Course Delivered?

WeTrain’s Conflict TO Cohesion: Getting Along In The Workplace course is generally presented as an engaging, interactive and fun two-day program, however, we can tailor the content to present a shorter session for conferences and events.

We aim to deliver training which is completely relevant to your business and your team. That’s why we undertake an initial consultation, where we assess the skill level of your attendees, address your desired outcomes and find out valuable information about your company and its current set-up.

Remember, it’s your course, so you get to decide where it takes place. We are happy to teach WeTrain’s Conflict Resolution: Getting Along In The Workplace program either from your workplace or at a venue of your choice.

Convenient Training at Your Premises or Off-Site

WeTrain can come to your office if you have the right space and facilities to host your training, or we can talk about off-site venues to conduct your training.

What Are Ideal Course Numbers?

Our courses are typically ‘hands-on’, so we suggest keeping numbers to a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 12 people. This allows our trainer to interact with your entire group yet still have enough time to allow for one-to-one interactions.

If your group exceeds 12, we will happily structure your training program to meet the needs of a larger audience. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
